Gwinnett Archaeological Research Society promotes research into and protection of archaeological sites and artifacts - primarily in Gwinnett County; encourages interest in and activities consistent with these goals; and documents Gwinnett history as it relates to historic and prehistoric sites.
GARS educates the public about the local archaeological resources and advocates the preservation of these sites.
